• Women Pastors: Rank Rebellion

              In light of all that the Lord has led me to write concerning worldly feminism and the great woman of God in His image since 2011,¹ as He continues to lead it is time to fully address the out of place elephant in the room of women pastors.  It is not as though the Lord has not had me address this issue before.  However, it has mostly been brief statements that speak to women taking authority over men in God’s house such as posts during this Covid-19 year starting with the very first in a footnote.²  In this post, the Lord in grace, mercy and at the end of His longsuffering has me make an extended case for guilty women pastors to repent now, or face His at hand severe judgment!

   

              Search the whole Bible from beginning to end to see if there is one instance of God calling a female to serve Him as a priest in the Old Testament or pastor in the New.  You will not find even one because the immutable God is consistent with Himself from creation that men are His elect leaders beginning in the home (Genesis 2:7, 18-24, 3:16, 20, 5:1-5)!  As the head of his house in the Old Testament, every man answered to God for his leadership and assigned responsibilities which included leading his family in worship and teaching His way (Genesis 8:20; Deuteronomy 6:4-9).  When God established Israel’s priesthood He was very specific and direct in His words to Moses.

   

              ‘“Now, take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest…,’” (Exodus 28:1, NKJV).  Plainly in the foregoing God makes His sovereign choice as to who of tribe, family and gender in Israel would serve Him as priests.  Then, the Lord ensures that all understand His election of Aaron and his sons to serve Him as priests is for all time by declaring to Moses: ‘“The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute.  So, you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons,’” (Exodus 29:9b, NKJV).  Though women were singers (Nehemiah 7:66-67), none ever led worship nor served as priests or Temple attendants but the sons of Levi.

   

              In the New Testament that fulfills God’s promise of a New Covenant with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-34), her promised Messiah and King inaugurates it through His shed blood at their rejecting hands.  Though not descended from Aaron, Jesus Christ is God’s exalted High Priest because His Priesthood is of a different, eternal spiritual order (Matthew 21:42, 26:26-28; John 19:5-22; Acts 4:8-12; Hebrews 4:14-5:11, 7-10:18).  He as God’s great High Priest has made those of us who believe on Him from either mortal gender priests to serve God in the eternal “spiritual house” He has made us to be individually and together as His living Body (Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:4-10, NKJV).³

   

              Yet, as the Lord and His apostles make clear, the spiritual priesthood believers enjoy through faith in Him does not invalidate God’s order of mankind and election of men to lead in the home as well as the local churches during this present mortal age.  Indeed, the Lord Jesus had a golden opportunity to demonstrate any change in God’s order and did not when He appointed His twelve apostles that were all men.  And later, after His resurrection when the eleven sought His will for one that would replace Judas who betrayed Him and committed suicide, the Lord has them select a man who met the apostolic criteria though, women were there including His own mother (Acts 1:9-26).⁴

   

              There were no female apostles, pastors, elders, church sponsored ministry leaders or teachers over men in the first century churches or for nearly all of the centuries after until now, except in sin rebuked by Christ (Revelation 2:18-29).  Paul--the Lord’s apostle specifically to us Gentiles where aberrations from God’s will from creation would be most prolific (Romans 1:18-32)--gives the reason when He presented and affirmed God’s order of mankind as the Father, Christ, man and woman to the church at Corinth (1 Corinthians 11:2-10)!  He and the apostle Peter also affirm God’s will that wives submit to the headship of their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-24; Colossians 3:18; 1 Peter 3:1-6).

   

              Moreover, Paul brought the direct command of Christ to Corinth and all of the churches to adhere to God’s order when the whole church met together which he reiterated to next generation leadership, Timothy, his son in the faith (1 Corinthians 14:33-37; 1 Timothy 2:11-15).  To Timothy also he sets forth the perpetual will of Christ as to who is to be considered for the positions of pastor (to include an elder since a pastor was often both) and deacons in the local churches.  In laying out their qualifications, the apostle is unequivocal that only men who demonstrate ruling ability at home are to be considered for these positions (1 Timothy 3:1-13).  This was no glass ceiling artificially installed by sinful men, but instructions from Christ consistent with God’s order of mankind from creation!

   

              Seeing then, that God has made no change in His order of mankind to be honored and practiced in the churches, the change that has taken place even celebrating professed Christian women taking authority over, teaching and shepherding men as church pastors has come from them and their male supporters.⁵  This is rank rebellion and a “latter times” display of foretold apostasy originating from “deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” as “the Spirit expressly” declared to the apostle Paul.  For the woman pastor is a total contradiction and repudiation of Scripture and sound doctrine.  Such women are out of order in the sight of God no matter how much they claim to have His calling and sanction and according to His Word, are not telling the truth (1 Timothy 4:1-2, NKJV)!⁶

   

              Therefore, unless the guilty do thoroughly repent and abandon their demonically inspired rebellion and apostasy, the Lord is about to bring on you what He did the false prophets and wicked priests of old who also lied on Him and the promised end of all false teachers (Jeremiah 23:9-40, 28; Ezekiel 13; 2 Peter 2).  The Lord will make you an example and omen of what lays ahead for your sister rebel feminists who make no pretense about knowing Him!  Again, I exhort you to repent from your rank rebellion pursuing Satan’s dead end path to power and renown.⁷  Instead, in all humility and submission aspire to become a great woman of God in Christ’s image (Mark 10:35-45)!  The risen, living Christ continues His cry among American churches, "Who is on the Lord's side?"

     feelings.   However,  no  matter  how strongly you may feel, the Holy Spirit will never lead you to defy and disobey God’s written Word since that would be fighting against

     Himself!   If  Satan is wise enough not to fight against himself, how much more wise is God not to do so (Matthew 12:22-30)?  Anyone is self and/or demonically deceived

     to believe God would lead them to disobey His Word and in making the Holy Spirit a party to your deceit, in danger of unpardonable blasphemy against Him (Matthew 12:

     31-33)!

  7 And  woe  to  the  men in willful disobedience who have usurped Christ and enabled this rebellion!  I especially appeal to my professed Christian black American sisters in

     so  many  churches  where  their numbers  are in the majority and well represented among rebel women pastors to hear the Lord through me on this (Ezekiel 33:1-9; Acts 

     20:26-27; Revelation 2:21).  Repent and voluntarily walk away as those did that escaped the fate of famous rebels Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Numbers 16:20-35).  Yeah,

     it’s serious like that!

• Confusing The Issue

              An ancient, diabolical method that has been used to side step obedience to divine commands is to confuse the issue as the Bible shows.  For example, Satan immediately confused the issue with Eve on God’s command about not eating from one tree in the garden by asking did He really say ‘“You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’.”  Then, he accused God of lying about the consequence of disobedience after Eve sought to clarify His command with her own embellishment.  Finally, the wily serpent also accused God of deceitfully trying to hide the actual beneficial end of eating from the tree He had forbidden.  Eve ate from it in disobedience (Genesis 3:1-6, 13, NKJV).

   

              After God introduced His Law through Moses, Satan influenced the Israelites that were guilty to use an inventive way to side step obedience by again confusing the issue.  God had commanded Israel, ‘“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt…You shall have no other gods before Me.’”  He further commanded they were not to make any ‘“carved image,’” ‘“bow down to…nor serve them,’” (Exodus 20:1-6, NKJV).  Later, however, while waiting on Moses, “the man,” they said, “who brought us up out of the land of Egypt” to return from talking with God on the mountain, the people urged Aaron to make them gods to “go before us,” (Exodus 32:1, NKJV).

   

              Had not God plainly and audibly in His own voice declared He, not Moses or any other god had brought Israel up out of Egypt?  But since they were waiting on Moses and not God as they should have been, they assigned the Egyptian exodus to Moses as its architect.  And from that confused conclusion in their impatience and spiritual dullness, they blamed Moses for the long delay and possible abandonment of them.  The confused issue over who was the actual driving force behind the exodus led to their blatant disobedience of the first two of God’s Ten Commandments in making for themselves gods (associated with demons) to lead them going forward.

   

              Even after all of God’s Law was written down, the deceiver was able to entice Israel to sin through confusing the issue of who their true God was.  For by the time God judged Judah through Babylon in 586 BC, the protest of obedience to His Word by a renegade group of survivors that had fled to Egypt summed it up for all that had gone before.  They gave the glory for their provision to the false gods they served (Jeremiah 44:15-30).  When Jesus Christ came as foretold, the issue was confused over rightful authority and God’s Law after more than 600 religious rules had been added; Israel’s leaders had Him crucified (Matthew 5:17-20, 15:1-9, 21:23-27, 22:15-46, 26:1-5, 27:15-54).

   

              From the first century professed followers of the risen Christ as pastors, bishops, popes, elders, deacons, other church, sect and cult leaders have done it; spouses, parents, slaveholders, business owners, royalty and some American Presidents have done it too.  All that are guilty have purposely quoted or misquoted, misinterpreted or misapplied Scripture to confuse the issue of obedience involving sin in their personal, religious, political, social, economic and educational agendas, opinions and ideas.¹  While some deliberately distorted Scripture, most simply lifted passages out of context and willfully read into them what they wanted to accomplish their ends.²

   

              In these latter days many deceived professed followers of Christ and their leaders have sought for ways to legitimize biblically defined sins they have with Satan’s help decided God has changed His mind on.³  From sexual immorality to feminism that tears down the morality, roles, rank, responsibilities and order of mankind as God designed, the Bible is corruptly used to carry out their ends.⁴  True to satanic method, a number of male church leaders and professed Christian feminists have attempted to side step obedience to the thoroughly plain biblical instruction on the roles of women in the home and God’s house by confusing the issue on the grounds of equality in Christ.⁵

   

              They falsely assert that since all are equal at the foot of the cross, this obliterates all role distinctions and cite Galatians 3:28 out of context as their main proof text--another classic case of confusing the issue and corrupting Scripture to do so!  But in Galatians 3:19-25, the apostle Paul has been talking about the purpose of the Law until salvation by faith came.  He launches from that to express in verses 26-29 how all are sons of God who have placed faith in, been immersed spiritually into and put Christ on; where also regardless of whether being Jew or Greek (Gentile), slave or free, male or female all are one and belonging to Him, heirs.  Verse 28 is about spiritual equality in Christ and does not destroy God’s mortal roles, rank, responsibilities and order of mankind!⁶

   

              Indeed, this same apostle Paul was used by God to affirm His will from creation that though equal in person, men are His assigned leaders over women beginning in the home, His house and if it was willing, the world (Genesis 3:16b; 1 Corinthians 11:2-16, 14:33-40; Ephesians 5:22-33; 1 Timothy 2:8-3:13; Titus 2:1-5).  But alas, the world is in active rebellion against God and His Word on this as are clearly many professed Christians who in having their way are willing to go to the extreme of purposely confusing the issue by corrupting God’s Word.  Woe to the guilty for while you may not treat God’s Word with fidelity, He forever does!  Therefore, He calls you to repentance.  Unless you do repent, you will suffer the deadly consequences of your iniquity (Romans 1:28-2:11; 2 Peter 3:9-18). The risen, living Christ continues His cry among American churches, "Who is on the Lord's side?"

• Daughters Of This Age, Pt. 1

              It is one thing for unsaved women to balk at and reject God’s design of females and rank in His established order of mankind during this present age; it is quite another thing when the females that profess to be saved Christians knowingly reject God’s design for themselves in rebellion against their Lord also.  An all out rebellion against God’s design of females, their roles, responsibilities and rank in His order of mankind is a recent phenomenon of history that is worsening in its negative outcomes and now, at its peak in these latter days, nearing its end as I have written in other posts.¹

   

              Among the blasphemous planks rebel female and male feminists have in their platform of all out rebellion against God, His Word and Christ is that females are wrongly and unfairly assigned an inferior second class status in His order of mankind (Psalm 2:1-3).  So seductively persuasive is this deceit and false accusation of Satan on par with his masterstroke with Eve in the garden (Genesis 3:1-5), many professed Christian females, males and pastors across social ideologies have bought into it over the past century and intensely so since the mid-1960s.²  On the surface apart from a faith enabled, intimate knowledge of God in a biblical worldview, it would seem the rebels have something.

   

              However, those who by faith continuously fellowship with God and know His Word realize His perfect character and purposes for man would never allow Him to treat the creature of His love with such contempt (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 31:30-32:4; Psalm 8:3-8).  For man the creature made in God’s image is both male and female from the beginning as Christ affirms (Genesis 1:27, 5:1-2; Matthew 19:1-6; Mark 10:1-9).  Though the female was created second after, out of and for the male, God did this to indisputably establish His order of mankind, accountability and purpose of procreation (Genesis 1:28, 2:7, 15-25, 3:6-24, 5:3-5; 1 Corinthians 11:2-12, 14:34-40; 1 Timothy 2:11-15).

   

              Now, let me pause here to ensure that though in love He cares for your salvation, I am not writing these things yet again as the Lord leads to convince the unsaved hardened in rebellion.  I write to the daughters of this age who profess faith in Him and are faithful because He cares that you be encouraged in the truth; that those who vacillate in or have already capitulated to rebel feminism might come to their spiritual senses and repent (2 Timothy 2:24-26)!  Females are not second class to God because you do not have the same roles, responsibilities and rank in His order as males!  Those professed Christian women thinking this way diminish their own value as God designed you.³

   

              You are also proving yourselves influenced by or fully captive to the thinking of the world culture under Satan’s dominion no matter how much you attempt to falsely justify the thinking by re-interpreting the Bible to read feminism into it or onto the godly females presented therein.  Since feminism as rebellion against God and His order of mankind originates from the instigation of demons that do not die, there are a few feminists in Bible history beginning with Eve in her ignorance and followed by Jezebel, Athaliah and Vashti as examples who all suffered the consequences (Genesis 3:12-13, 16a; 1 Kings 16:29-33, 18:1-4, 19:1-3, 21:1-26; 2 Kings 9:30-37, 11:1-16; Esther 1).

   

              In contrast to the many more godly women in the Bible (including Deborah who did not lead out Israel’s army to battle or usurp God’s chosen male commander, but accompanied him at his insistence as a comforting “mother”--Judges 4:4-10, 5:7, NKJV), the foregoing named feminist rebels starting with Eve all acted in independent self-will to lead out in their actions and defiance of God’s order and/or Word (Genesis 3:17a).⁴  Jezebel and Athaliah typify the aggressive feminism of our day in their ambitious grab for and use of authority.  Knowing the divine order of mankind and all of the cultural expectations of her as queen, wife of her husband the king, Vashti knowingly disrespected him before the whole kingdom in her defiance of his marital and royal headship (James 4:17).

   

              Godly and humble Esther on the other hand, who had not ambitiously sought to be queen and replaced Vashti, showed her husband, the king, great respect and earned his trusting favor (Esther 2:1-18).⁵  Not by usurping the king, wicked scheming or the manipulative wielding of authority behind the scenes did the Jewish queen Esther prevail to save her people from genocide, but through faith in God, fasting, prayer and courage to do as the Lord providentially led her (Esther 4:1-16, 5:1-8, 7-8)!  Please note that while in God’s order of mankind the man, Mordecai, who served as Esther’s father outranked her, after giving her wise and challenging counsel he submitted to her conferred authority as queen in this unique context to do as she “commanded him,” (Esther 4:17, NKJV).

• Daughters Of This Age, Pt. 2

              Beyond the instances of royalty or more widely business ownership in the Bible, contemporary feminism’s vision for females is unfettered access to authority and power wherever it is to be found as well as to do whatever males do!  A number consider all prior restrictions to this ambition from Eve until now, oppression.  So now, besides assigning females to a second class status in His order of mankind, God is also blasphemously accused of being an oppressor since His role assignments that call for them to be companions and helpers to their husbands in the work of governance and procreation stifles any personal ambition to independently strike out to do anything else.⁶

   

              Certainly, no professed Christian woman I am aware of has verbalized the accusation God is an oppressor of females, but cleverly only attribute this to men.  Nevertheless, whether they realize it or not, the accusation is against God too, since He created man and put His order in place!  And as for saying men installed the oppression of women into the Bible as its writers, you again accuse God since it is written, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” and “is right;” the apostle Peter adding, “for prophecy (with application to all Scripture) never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit,” (Psalm 33:4-9; 2 Timothy 3:16a; 2 Peter 1:21, NKJV).

   

              The sovereign God did not create man male or female to operate independent of Him, but in accord with His will or else, why are we under judgment of Adam’s disobedience (Romans 5:12-14)?  Setting down His will for the creatures created is the prerogative of God as Creator is it not?  Of course, this is the reason many feminists are also atheists and evolutionists so, in their darkened understanding they might be free from the rule of God (they falsely think), who has left the breadcrumbs of His existence and power in and all around mankind.  Even so, they still invent and bow to many false gods as demons, worship the creation and are objects of His wrath (Romans 1:18-32)! 

   

              Disastrously, through sharing in the disgruntled mindset of worldly rebel feminists and with the murderous, autocratic, pushiness of Jezebel and Athaliah, guilty professed Christian females are corrupting God’s Word to bring it into line with the deceitful instruction of demons in these “latter times,” (1 Timothy 4:1, NKJV).  After guilt tripping and emotionally manipulating them, they coerce men with them to craft new Bibles that remove God’s election of male leadership and accountability at all levels of human society beginning in the family right down to the use of masculine pronouns that offend their view of equality.⁷  Still, without this, allies to their evil cause in Christendom is expansive.

   

              Count among them every professed Christian scholar, missionary, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher that has torn down God’s order of mankind presented from Genesis to Revelation by wickedly relegating its assertion to only the cultural and social customs of those times that are now, passé as they seek to please feminists, not Him.⁸  They also cite notable Christian patriarchs and figures of history who may have advocated for greater female involvement in church leadership; the experiences of those females now, claiming a call from God to take authority over men in His house as pastors, leaders and teachers to justify as well as avoid confessing and repenting from their error.

   

              Despite the use of the educationally credentialed, ecclesiastical authorities and media star power to push the feminist agenda within professing Christianity, outside of God’s Word, none of what they say is finally authoritative as the guilty know and impresses no one except fellow rebels and those that do not obey their Bibles anyway!  Because of the foregoing and advocacy of all but those considered the most obnoxious of biblically conservative Christians such as myself in the midst, professing Western Christianity is seen by the world to be an ally wickedly endorsing the feminist quest to obliterate God’s design of females, their roles, responsibilities and rank in His order of mankind.⁹  The Lord Jesus is unequivocal: you cannot be both for and against Him (Luke 11:23)!

   

              Meanwhile, contrary to the deceitful feminist propaganda this rebellion and the rise of females to power is improving society, marginalized men are confused, conflicted about and abdicating their roles and responsibilities as husbands and fathers.¹⁰  Their sexual immorality, lawless violence, mass murders and of each other along with suicide increase.  Their mistreatment, abuse and murder of women continue unabated.  The marriages of professed and non-Christians are regularly crumbling in divorce and many families are in dysfunctional disarray.  If this is supposed to be the feminist utopia in the making, it is actually a dystopia growing worse by the day!¹¹  It cannot and never will be that the rebellion of any of His creatures leads to something better than what God had or has in mind!

• Feminism’s Entry Into The Churches, Pt. 2

              It could be no plainer as written: “God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints,” (1 Corinthians 14:33, NKJV).  In accord with the will of Christ the Holy Spirit imparts spiritual gifts to all genuinely born again believers and does so adhering to the divine order of mankind to be honored by the saints in every church and generation until the Lord returns.  Too, women are not oppressed and no glass ceiling exists in the churches.  Jesus as Lord is the infinitely stronger than iron authority over them!  Thus, though a woman may be gifted to prophesy, preach or teach, she does so in line with God’s order of mankind (1 Corinthians 14:34-37; 1 Timothy 2:11-15).³

   

              As a pastor, I was always on the lookout for sisters in Christ gifted to teach His Word both within our assembly and beyond to help me spiritually build up the women I served.  Nationally, in those days I came to regard the teaching ministry of Beth Moore.  I was saddened recently, though, after reading a blog she wrote to her brothers.  I was certainly moved for her (and all other gifted female Bible teachers that have had or are having her experience) to learn that she has been treated as inferior and with the same contempt I have as a black man among not a few white conservative professed Christian males.  According to her testimony up to now, she has handled this admirably.⁴

   

              Nevertheless, while mistreating a fellow believer on the basis of gender or race is sin that should be rebuked, I urge us all affected not to appeal for acceptance and respect of our person as much as for God and His Word!  In doing this, we must strive to be accurate which in a righteous attempt to uphold the Lord’s valuing of women, my sister was not when she labeled Mary Magdalene as the “first evangelist” based on Jesus’ command to carry His personal message to His “brethren” (John 20:17-18, NKJV).  This is a common interpretive mistake among my sisters reacting defensively to justify and validate their existence in ministry and legitimize their ministries.⁵ 

   

              Spiritual gifts are given by the Lord for the service of His house and Kingdom causes not our personal ambitions to achieve or be recognized for the sake of ego (Mark 8:34, 10:35-45; John 13:14-17)!  Christian women gifted to prophesy, preach or teach that insist on being treated with the same deference in position as the men show they are after ego gratification, forgetting God’s order of mankind that always has the men in His house at the higher rank (Romans 13:1-2; 1 Corinthians 11:3).⁶  Feminism of the world in the churches insists this is not fair, but we in Christ are not of the world!  Because this is true, Christian men and women are to interact with the proper attitudes while respecting rank (Romans 12:16; Galatians 3:26-28; Colossians 3:12-17; 1 Timothy 5:1-2).

   

              Moreover, local churches or related parachurch entities are not the places we go to find significance in working nor to show up to show out in again, gratifying the ego (Romans 12:3-13; 1 Peter 4:7-11).⁷  But we should learn before we ever do anything that we have significance having already been accepted relationally “in the Beloved” by grace through faith; who gave Himself for us to redeem us back to God (Romans 5:6-11; Galatians 1:1-5; Ephesians 1:3-14; Titus 2:11-14, NKJV).  Therefore, it is not nearly as important as we think it is that any of us in ministry be accepted or respected by peers as it is being faithful to the God who called us and His Word (1 Corinthians 4:2)!

   

              To these ends, I hope Beth Moore keeps reaching and teaching women as gifted by the Holy Spirit, called by Christ and affirmed in Scripture as her sole mission; not allowing herself for the sake of greater success or respect to purposely include men as a target audience in sin.  For though she cannot control that men come to her women’s events and rightly does not eject them (if not surveying her doctrine or from evil motives, the men are obviously searching for something they are not getting from male pastors and teachers), knowingly accepting invitations to teach in settings of disobedience as I have seen her in passing doing on Christian television is willful sin (James 4:17).  Once more, the Holy Spirit will never lead us away from or into disobedience to God’s Word.

   

              There is clearly enough personal, pastoral and corporate sin over just feminism in His house for the Lord not to be pleased with His people and churches that are guilty at this hour.  We all know there are so many other strongholds of deceit in God’s house as well.  Therefore, I cry out yet again with the Lord’s appeal to all of the guilty to repent now!  For if there are natural consequences for disobeying the Lord Jesus’ words, then, in all consistency with His acts toward disobedient Israel of old, judgment is about to dramatically intensify upon professed Christian individuals, leaders and churches guilty of constructing and maintaining strongholds of deceit in His house (Luke 6:46-49).  The risen, living Christ continues His cry among American churches, "Who is on the Lord's side?"

     The  unwitting  woman  at  the  well certainly qualifies in action to be considered an evangelist since she went and told lost men to ‘“Come, see a Man...’” (John 4:25-30,
     NKJV), but she was not gifted and called to do so.  Surely, though, she was a witness of Christ as all Christians are supposed to be (Acts 1:8)!

  6 Respecting  rank  applies  to men immediately under Christ also.  While He calls us “friends,” “one” with Himself and the Father and “brethren,” (John 15:13-15, 17:20-23,

     20:17, NKJV), we  never  get  in  the  Lord’s  face  insisting that we be regarded the same as He in rank (Revelation 17:14).  We never see Christ attempting to equal His 

     Father  in  rank either, though, He is equal to Him in every other way (John 14:28-31; Philippians 2:5-7)!  Such respect for rank is everywhere seen in the created spiritual

     dominions  of  angels  too  and  the  natural  order of the earth except in these latter days among fallen humanity as women under the influence of demons, rebel through

     feminism to challenge God’s  order of mankind.  Truly, even  with all of her business activity and acumen the Proverbs 31 woman never sought to stand with her husband

     in  rank at home or “in the gates,” the place of community governance by men as elders (Proverbs 31:23, NKJV)!

  7 Seeing  activity  in  the church as performance is another reason many churches of manmade religion especially have capitulated to and allowed feminism and its central

      tenet  of  worldly  defined  gender equality to enter.  Women are seen as equally as capable as the men to perform in any positions of the church and they are.  Even so,

     God  calls  His  servants  to  serve  Him and His causes in His house to please Him and do His will.  This means among other things as the apostle John teaches, in love

     obeying  the  divine  order of mankind in all that is done (1 John 5:2-3).  Evidently, the apostles did not consider faithful obedience to God’s Word “legalism” as many pro-
     fessed Christians under demonic influence and in rebellion accuse us of today who delight in it!

• Salvation And Childbearing

              The New Testament of the Bible is absolutely clear and unequivocal: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,” (1 Timothy 1:15, NKJV).  Whoever among males and females of mankind repents of their sins and believes the Gospel of Christ that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day will be saved (John 3:16-17, Acts 2:38-39; Romans 10:10-13; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)!  So then, God makes no distinction between male and female in the means of obtaining His free gift of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone.  Even so, the Christian female is uniquely shown to be saved in childbearing according to Paul, the apostle to us Gentiles.

   

              God in sovereignty established His order of mankind at creation.  The apostle Paul instructs Timothy, his son in the faith, about how this foundational truth works itself out in the way women were to perpetually conduct themselves in God’s house during this mortal age.  Silence and respectful submission was to characterize their demeanor in the mixed assembly of men and they are not “to teach or to have authority over a man” because in God’s standing order of mankind “Adam was formed first, then Eve,” (1 Timothy 2:11-13, NKJV).¹  He also cites the fact the first woman was the one “deceived” when she usurped her husband and “fell into transgression,” (1 Timothy 2:14, NKJV).

   

              Apparently, Paul and God inspiring his pen took the first female’s status as the first sinner and how she became one very seriously unlike many in the churches at this hour.  Typically, the first to do something is considered a trail blazer, noble and good.  However, to be the first human sinner is eternally ignoble in the sight of the holy God!  Truly, the fact the immediate punishment of Eve (and her daughters to follow) was only “greatly” intensified grief while pregnant and “pain” in childbirth is amazing grace indeed (Genesis 3:1-7, 13, 16a, NKJV)!²  That guilty females would instead of humility, in pride today, openly rebel against God who has shown such grace is very wicked.

   

              Whatever circumstances may have led to the apostle’s specific instruction about women (such as perhaps having some at Ephesus attempt to teach or take authority over men), the instruction is rooted in God’s design, assigned roles, responsibilities and order of rank for man as male and female.  So, the saved, Christian female purposely designed by God to bear children is to please Him above all and be content with His will to do so as a wife and mother.³  This assumes of course, she gets married and is physically able to bear children.⁴  Her submission to God in this is proven salvation “if” she continues “in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control,” (1 Timothy 2:15, NKJV).  The latter trait is needed to help avoid the first female’s impulsive act to usurp her husband, be deceived and sin.

     sion  or  together  in  the manner of Aquila and Priscilla with Apollos as an uncle and aunt (the husband leading) teach the faith to a singular man in private (Acts 18:24-26)

     or finally, be a gifted teacher of women as well as male and female children (Titus 2:1-5).

  4 There  is  no  specific  instance of a call from God to any woman in the Bible to lifelong celibacy.  As such, a Christian female that takes it upon herself to do this is to keep 

     her  vow to the Lord.  Otherwise, she is to wait on God in all purity to send her a husband.  After marriage, adoption is certainly an option if either spouse has reproductive

     issues.
