Though voting is and will remain an imperfect and maddening process of democracy as long as it exists, I urge all that profess to be Christians to vote! While the Lord has given me no word about the outcome of this year’s Presidential election, He has affirmed what He led me to write in 2016 about a “temporary door of opportunity” for the Gospel remaining after it that is already closing.1 For now, the voting of mainly white conservative Christians such as those identifying as evangelical can possibly still make a difference as was done in the 2016 Presidential election.2
Our democratic republic is ostensibly open to and welcomes any number of citizen initiated parties, their candidates and platforms. However, the political professionals, media, and money have seen to it that the authentic party options are only the Republicans or Democrats. Both of these parties, their candidates and platforms have shortcomings that challenge a biblical worldview in some form or another as I lamented in a previous post.3 Nevertheless, in praying for how to vote with a biblical worldview in candidate fields that continue to be “bad and worst,” I was able to push myself to do so with the family as God designed it as my driving concern where I could apply it (Malachi 4:4-6).
Once again in a Presidential election both major party candidates profess to be Christians. But as one aspiring to be a strong man of God in the image of Jesus Christ and teaching other Christian men to do likewise as the Lord in His Word summons us,4 I am very challenged to discern this same heart in the words, actions and demeanor reflecting the character of President Donald Trump or former Vice President, Joe Biden. And while I know we are not electing a national pastor, for the sake of all the men as family heads also watching these two professed Christians, I am disheartened for their sakes because what they are seeing does not commend the faith or biblical manhood.
Both men represent forms of manmade Christianity the religion American style that permit one to go to church, give, sing a few songs, listen to a sermon on Sunday and otherwise maybe attempt to live out a few morals that are not inconvenient or present a conflict of interest with what is politically or financially expedient.5 Mr. Trump’s amazing difficulty calling out clear racism and racist acts and Mr. Biden’s dogmatic insistence a woman’s right to choose to murder her unborn child is morally right illustrate my latter point. The raw, selfish ambition and arrogance of both of these men is also hard to watch as for example, each asserts the ability to arrest and control God’s Coronavirus.6
Vice President Mike Pence by far sets the best example of professed Christian dedication and biblical manhood operating in our nation’s media fish bowl. During his debate with challenging Vice Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, she characterized herself with the politically correct label “person of faith” and took exception to any inference she was not by her political views and actions. Being a person of faith means absolutely nothing in a biblical worldview if that faith is not in Christ and without obedience to God’s Word (John 5:16-23; 1 John 2:18-23)! America’s disintegrating families need the firm conviction of their value and help from real Christian leaders devoted to restoring them.
Political correctness, tolerance, revised false history narratives for the sake of multiculturalism, abortion, radical feminism, same sex relations, gender confusion etc. are not working to restore, but destroy families as God in His Word designed. In our deeply divided nation politically conservative whites that also profess to be evangelical Christians in large numbers have rallied to Mr. Trump as their champion because he does publicly speak out against most of the socially liberal ideologies corrupting the nation and working against the family. Mr. Biden has most black and other political liberals calling themselves “progressive” and many too, professed Christians embracing him. Biblical conservatives--for who character and righteousness matter--and independents are in a tough spot.
Rather than sit out not liking either candidate, there are still those lesser known parties and candidates that can be considered. I certainly would have sat this one out if it had not been for the sake of restoring men and the families God has called them to lead for the time that is left. As well, I was moved to vote by the suffering many black Americans endured to secure my right to do so; suffering I was able to see as a boy on my family’s black and white television in the 1960s. This was suffering caused by the systemic racism of our nation undergirded by the fathers of those professed to be Christians among the white conservatives unreservedly behind Mr. Trump and many who like him, have trouble truly empathizing with the suffering of blacks and other minorities.7
Evangelicals may indeed, again save the day politically for Mr. Trump and the Republicans. Alas though, if so, it is still only a temporary postponing of the inevitable. Unrepentant rebelling, apostate Christians with the growing unsaved openly anti-God, anti-Christian and anti-Bible citizenry of the nation are making their ascent now! Four more years will do nothing but give them extra time to build up their numbers and influence. Meanwhile, God Almighty continues His activity regardless of who is in the White House. Without repentance today or forthcoming, the world and nation are under His judgment. As He foretells in His despised Book, the Bible, the Coronavirus pestilence and calamities of 2020 will surely seem tame four years from now (Jeremiah 30:23-24; Luke 21:25-26).

6 Really? Neither these men nor any other sinful mortal has the ability to arrest or control a pestilence God has initiated unless He wills it so! Therefore, to vote for either
of these men on the basis of which can best arrest, control or eradicate the Coronavirus on his watch is pure folly. God in grace and mercy will act in accord with the
counsel of His own will and timing to diminish the pestilence. What can move His hand sooner is humble, heartfelt and complete repentance on the part of the nation’s
leaders and people guilty of over the top transgression, sin and iniquity beginning in His own house among those who profess as Christians to know Him (1 John 2:3-6).
This is as He has had me crying out for months. Read especially the April 5, 2020 post, God Is Speaking and on the 19th, Does Anybody Repent Anymore?, both un-

7 The oppression and violence involved in human sex trafficking is evil. However, it does not begin to compare with the experience of slavery my forefathers had in the
hands of many professed Christian white men that included sexual abuse and even went so far as to corrupt the Bible to justify their evil deeds and deceive their chattel.
When conservative white evangelicals attempt to equivocate the historic, accurately portrayed cruelty of their forefathers toward my own with contemporary sex traffick-
ing as wicked as it is to downplay the continuing reality of systemic racism in our nation, whether intended or not it minimizes what my forefathers suffered. This shows
you still do not get it and gives the appearance you do not want to! Please do not just pose with the President for photo opportunities and proudly exult in your access,
but you repent of sin and exhort him to do the same. For those souls that have done so, the Lord bless you.
Feminism’s rebellion against God’s order of mankind from creation that permanently established His election of men to lead beginning in the home has proven costly to the Western world, our nation and many churches during the Coronavirus pandemic. As part of a wider, foretold rebellion against God (Psalm 2:1-3), feminism’s rebellion has marginalized secular men leaving the typical male conflicted and confused about who and what he is. Thanks to feminism’s purposeful infiltration, the same has taken place among many Christian men as they may be taught they are the heads at home, but are usurped by females in guilty churches contrary to God’s written Word!1
In the rise of feminism it has been arbitrarily determined that men are necessary only as unassuming mates, financial partners and sperm donors. This determination has been made in the kind of ignorance medicine once displayed about certain body parts such as the spleen. Because they could not figure out its function, the spleen was once deemed unimportant.2 However, from creation humanity has known the very important leadership roles and responsibilities God assigned to men, but now, have chosen to rebel! One of the most ruinous outcomes of rebelling against God’s set order of mankind by the world and many churches has been the destruction of the nuclear family.
In my book, The Strong Man Of God: Back To Basics, I cite statistics bearing out the foregoing statement and that have only gotten worse.3 Even the most rabid feminist and advocate of same sex marriage must concede that without an original married Adam and Eve procreating and providing a cohesive family framework as in the Bible, none of us would be here today! The nuclear family as God designed it with a male husband-father and female wife-mother is absolutely basic to the stability and survival of mortal human life on this planet (Genesis 1:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:11-12). You cannot remove either without wreaking havoc upon the family and mankind as is now, happening.
I was also led by the Lord in my book to recover His design of a man made in the divine image and likeness to lead, teach, provide for and protect his family from the Bible. Male headship is established by God in the simple act of creating Adam first and then, taking the female out of him to be his companion and helper (Genesis 2:7, 15-25). When the female plainly showed she had not understood this by the acts of usurping her husband and disobedience, God told her to her face what His order is as the apostles of Christ also affirm (Genesis 3:1-6, 16b; 1 Corinthians 11:3-10, 14:34-37; 1 Timothy 2:11-15; 1 Peter 3:1-6). The wickedness of fallen men has not changed God’s order.
After just over half a century of feminism that has reached its triumphant though, temporary pinnacle,4 a devastating unforeseen consequence of its spread within many families and churches has been exposed by God’s Coronavirus judgment.5 The rebel feminist rejection of God’s order of mankind that requires male leadership has left many families and churches without men to step up and take charge during the crisis. Abandonment and domestic violence incidents may be up not only as a product of the psychological pressures of the pandemic, but this consequential absence of God’s moral responsibility imperative on men for their families; many with women not their wives.
Guilty churches that have proudly embraced the stronghold of feminism by teaching in word and practice a worldly egalitarian form of male headship at home which ends at the steps of the church building, now, find themselves having to get basic instruction and worship to families that cannot physically come to church. Not all have the internet.6 Meantime, most of their few men have no idea they were supposed to be teaching their families and leading them in devotion and worship of God apart from, but while also assembling with other believers in local churches (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 1 Corinthians 14:34-35; Ephesians 6:4). They are absolutely clueless on how to proceed. The local church did all of this for them in exchange for their attendance, money and service of some kind.
The Lord’s Coronavirus judgment has revealed the glaring evil in this sinful arrangement brought about by acquiescence to the feminist rebellion that marginalizes men and too, the carnal co-dependency I recently wrote about that exists in many churches.7 Therefore, let those pastors, elders and church leaders that are guilty during God’s Coronavirus judgment repent and return to conducting their assemblies in accord with His will, way and Word! This means teaching and practicing the Lord’s order of mankind, biblical man and womanhood in His house.8 In so doing, also teaching men without the gifts of leading and teaching how to call upon the Lord for what they need to fulfill His assigned responsibilities as the pastors of their homes; women how to submit and be supportive.9
As well, restore men to their proper leadership roles in God’s house; qualifying those gifted by the Holy Spirit and demonstrated practice at home to shepherd and teach others as it is written (1 Timothy 3:1-13). Men alone are to teach adult men as well as address, lead the worship, teach and preach to the whole church when it is assembled as the Word says and I exhort pastors in my book. This all being done, men will know what to do next time folk cannot go to church--coming persecution assuring that time is not far off! Let the church leaders that truly love Christ’s sheep give heed so, the shameful spectacle of professed Christians being distraught and disillusioned because they cannot go to church that has occurred during God’s Coronavirus judgment does not reoccur.

Churches, under the same category and that of God’s Creatures. Feminism is so pervasive in many churches today, I am not welcome in some. Also, not a few wo-
men have told me if it were not for them (rather than the Holy Spirit), churches would not exist. God’s Coronavirus shut down of churches surely proves who is really
behind their existence! Otherwise, the women speak the truth as it concerns dead churches of manmade religion.

4 Read the April 8, 2018 post, The Second Adam Rules And Judges, under the category, Call To Repent and The Value Of Women To Families posted May 6, 2018
under the category, God’s Creatures. The first woman though judged for her acts of rebellion (Genesis 3:16a, 17-24), was shown mercy because they were done out
of faithless spiritual ignorance (1 Timothy 1:12-13). Such will not be the case for women millennia after her, the coming of her Seed to bring salvation (Genesis 3:13-
15), biblical instruction and commands willfully discarded by them (and fearful, people pleasing men) who fully know what they are doing (Romans 1:18-32)! Truly, as
the Holy Spirit discloses in Bible prophecy, even before the Lord Jesus returns to squash all rebellion against God, the now, triumphant feminist moment will have
been put down by the Antichrist. Having no regard for any god above himself, he will not honor any women put forth no matter how seductively proffered or endorse
the feminist ascent to divinity which some of their more deluded numbers make no apology for blasphemously asserting (Daniel 11:36-37; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

8 Such teaching and practice is fundamental to activity in the genuine repentance and Holy Spirit fired revival of the post Coronavirus paradigm the Lord led me to write
about in the April 26, 2020 post, There Is Only One..., under the category, Instruction. While there may not be uniformity of style in doing this, for the leaders’ sake,
there had better be unanimity of content informed exclusively and obediently by God’s Word (James 3:1)!
9 In its mission to restore men, their families and communities, this Ministry continues to stand ready to serve the instructional needs of men through for example, the
free download, Men Leading Family Worship At Home available in the Strong Man Store. Too, pastors and men’s leaders can teach and disciple men in biblical man-
hood through The Strong Man Of God Men’s Group Study also in the Strong Man Store. And coming this October for women, The Great Woman Of God Women’s
Group Study. Both studies can be conducted in small groups that gather together in person or by way of the internet.
In light of all that the Lord has led me to write concerning worldly feminism and the great woman of God in His image since 2011,1 as He continues to lead it is time to fully address the out of place elephant in the room of women pastors. It is not as though the Lord has not had me address this issue before. However, it has mostly been brief statements that speak to women taking authority over men in God’s house such as posts during this Covid-19 year starting with the very first in a footnote.2 In this post, the Lord in grace, mercy and at the end of His longsuffering has me make an extended case for guilty women pastors to repent now, or face His at hand severe judgment!
Search the whole Bible from beginning to end to see if there is one instance of God calling a female to serve Him as a priest in the Old Testament or pastor in the New. You will not find even one because the immutable God is consistent with Himself from creation that men are His elect leaders beginning in the home (Genesis 2:7, 18-24, 3:16, 20, 5:1-5)! As the head of his house in the Old Testament, every man answered to God for his leadership and assigned responsibilities which included leading his family in worship and teaching His way (Genesis 8:20; Deuteronomy 6:4-9). When God established Israel’s priesthood He was very specific and direct in His words to Moses.
‘“Now, take Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to Me as priest…,’” (Exodus 28:1, NKJV). Plainly in the foregoing God makes His sovereign choice as to who of tribe, family and gender in Israel would serve Him as priests. Then, the Lord ensures that all understand His election of Aaron and his sons to serve Him as priests is for all time by declaring to Moses: ‘“The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So, you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons,’” (Exodus 29:9b, NKJV). Though women were singers (Nehemiah 7:66-67), none ever led worship nor served as priests or Temple attendants but the sons of Levi.
In the New Testament that fulfills God’s promise of a New Covenant with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-34), her promised Messiah and King inaugurates it through His shed blood at their rejecting hands. Though not descended from Aaron, Jesus Christ is God’s exalted High Priest because His Priesthood is of a different, eternal spiritual order (Matthew 21:42, 26:26-28; John 19:5-22; Acts 4:8-12; Hebrews 4:14-5:11, 7-10:18). He as God’s great High Priest has made those of us who believe on Him from either mortal gender priests to serve God in the eternal “spiritual house” He has made us to be individually and together as His living Body (Ephesians 2:19-22; 1 Peter 2:4-10, NKJV).3
Yet, as the Lord and His apostles make clear, the spiritual priesthood believers enjoy through faith in Him does not invalidate God’s order of mankind and election of men to lead in the home as well as the local churches during this present mortal age. Indeed, the Lord Jesus had a golden opportunity to demonstrate any change in God’s order and did not when He appointed His twelve apostles that were all men. And later, after His resurrection when the eleven sought His will for one that would replace Judas who betrayed Him and committed suicide, the Lord has them select a man who met the apostolic criteria though, women were there including His own mother (Acts 1:9-26).4
There were no female apostles, pastors, elders, church sponsored ministry leaders or teachers over men in the first century churches or for nearly all of the centuries after until now, except in sin rebuked by Christ (Revelation 2:18-29). Paul--the Lord’s apostle specifically to us Gentiles where aberrations from God’s will from creation would be most prolific (Romans 1:18-32)--gives the reason when He presented and affirmed God’s order of mankind as the Father, Christ, man and woman to the church at Corinth (1 Corinthians 11:2-10)! He and the apostle Peter also affirm God’s will that wives submit to the headship of their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-24; Colossians 3:18; 1 Peter 3:1-6).
Moreover, Paul brought the direct command of Christ to Corinth and all of the churches to adhere to God’s order when the whole church met together which he reiterated to next generation leadership, Timothy, his son in the faith (1 Corinthians 14:33-37; 1 Timothy 2:11-15). To Timothy also he sets forth the perpetual will of Christ as to who is to be considered for the positions of pastor (to include an elder since a pastor was often both) and deacons in the local churches. In laying out their qualifications, the apostle is unequivocal that only men who demonstrate ruling ability at home are to be considered for these positions (1 Timothy 3:1-13). This was no glass ceiling artificially installed by sinful men, but instructions from Christ consistent with God’s order of mankind from creation!
Seeing then, that God has made no change in His order of mankind to be honored and practiced in the churches, the change that has taken place even celebrating professed Christian women taking authority over, teaching and shepherding men as church pastors has come from them and their male supporters.5 This is rank rebellion and a “latter times” display of foretold apostasy originating from “deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” as “the Spirit expressly” declared to the apostle Paul. For the woman pastor is a total contradiction and repudiation of Scripture and sound doctrine. Such women are out of order in the sight of God no matter how much they claim to have His calling and sanction and according to His Word, are not telling the truth (1 Timothy 4:1-2, NKJV)!6
Therefore, unless the guilty do thoroughly repent and abandon their demonically inspired rebellion and apostasy, the Lord is about to bring on you what He did the false prophets and wicked priests of old who also lied on Him and the promised end of all false teachers (Jeremiah 23:9-40, 28; Ezekiel 13; 2 Peter 2). The Lord will make you an example and omen of what lays ahead for your sister rebel feminists who make no pretense about knowing Him! Again, I exhort you to repent from your rank rebellion pursuing Satan’s dead end path to power and renown.7 Instead, in all humility and submission aspire to become a great woman of God in Christ’s image (Mark 10:35-45)! The risen, living Christ continues His cry among American churches, "Who is on the Lord's side?"
1 My breakout blog posts challenging the satanic deceit of feminism that has infiltrated many churches take up the month of May 2015 as 2011 commentaries refuting four

6 Because most women are in greater touch with their emotions, it is very easy for evil men (to their chagrin) and demons to manipulate their strongly held and trusted
feelings. However, no matter how strongly you may feel, the Holy Spirit will never lead you to defy and disobey God’s written Word since that would be fighting against
Himself! If Satan is wise enough not to fight against himself, how much more wise is God not to do so (Matthew 12:22-30)? Anyone is self and/or demonically deceived
to believe God would lead them to disobey His Word and in making the Holy Spirit a party to your deceit, in danger of unpardonable blasphemy against Him (Matthew 12:
31-33)!
7 And woe to the men in willful disobedience who have usurped Christ and enabled this rebellion! I especially appeal to my professed Christian black American sisters in
so many churches where their numbers are in the majority and well represented among rebel women pastors to hear the Lord through me on this (Ezekiel 33:1-9; Acts
20:26-27; Revelation 2:21). Repent and voluntarily walk away as those did that escaped the fate of famous rebels Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Numbers 16:20-35). Yeah,
it’s serious like that!
I wrote to guilty pastors, elders and churches in a January 27, 2019 post footnote, “How can you seriously expect the world to hear you from God’s Word and you do not even obey it?”1 The fact of the matter is blatant disobedience to God’s Word has characterized many professed Christians, their churches and other ecclesiastical bodies reaching back to the apostles (Romans 16:17-18; 1 Corinthians 5:1-2; Galatians 3:1-4). During the past 500 years, breakaway European Protestants protested the disobedience and corruptions of Catholicism only to find themselves in independence doing all of the same things as their mother (Revelation 17:1-6).
Both groups wickedly gave religious undergirding to the bigoted, violent and dehumanizing form of slavery my forefathers endured while passing down to them their manmade forms of Christianity the religion corruptly drawn from the Bible.2 Thanks to the continuing support of its many powerless manmade forms extant like yeast throughout American Christianity, racial bigotry and discrimination also remains a foil to the realization of a widespread display of biblically commanded, Holy Spirit fired love and brotherhood.3 This is to the glee of Satan who along with racial bigotry has initiated all of the deceitful strongholds of sin among the many harlot churches today God in His wrath will destroy (Amos 5:16-27; Revelation 16:17-19, 17:15-18:8)!4
Like our nation at this moment, American Christianity in the main is a racially divided house about to fall as I write in this edited 2013 Commentary.
Originally Published February 2013
The now deceased Rodney King's appeal, "Can we all get along" was moving, but not realistic for worldly men. His appeal came in the face of rioting after a 1992 trial acquitting white Los Angeles police officers of beating him that was captured on video and seen globally. For professed Christian American men, getting along in racial harmony is supposedly not to be the problem it is for worldly men since we have God resident in us. However, the nearly four centuries Christianity has been in America tragically presents contrary evidence. Aspiring strong men of God in the image of Christ celebrate diversity in His Body; fostering unity, harmony and where needed, healing.5
It is Black History Month again. The occasion may seem to be a purposeful discomfiting reminder to white Americans of the racism that once ran so deep among their forefathers, an attempt was made to destroy black contributions from American history. However, to prevent the loss of our history, help build appreciation in blacks and willing others, black educator and historian Carter G. Woodson created the special emphasis last century that now spans all of February. Nevertheless, as the uproar in Rodney King’s beating twenty years ago and subsequent events such as last year’s killing of black teenager, Trayvon Martin, show, racial tensions remain skin deep.6
Tensions are apparent too in churches that are racially homogeneous and wish to remain so. How could racial segregation as initiated by whites during slavery and continued by many of their descendants along with reciprocating black and other minorities professing to be Christians remain to this hour? Why can’t we come together in our racial diversity as Christians? As the Lord led, I explored this issue through a booklet I wrote in 2005 entitled, The Scourge Of Racism.7 In it, I conclude racism in the churches is a failure by professed Christians to obey the Lord's command to love one another (John 13:34-35).
I also write about the failure to love one another in a number of blog posts.8 This failure is tied to America's brand of Christianity the religion where impostors devoid of the Holy Spirit and weak believers quenching His fire in willful sin, practice all manner of evil including racism. America's Christian house is divided in defiance of the Lord all claim to follow and His teaching that "a house divided against a house falls," (Luke 11:17; NKJV). If the guilty do not repent from the toleration of racism and other sins that divide, the Lord's teaching will soon be fulfilled since it can be no other way (Luke 11:23, 21:33)!
As I assert in The Scourge Of Racism, God our Creator from the one man, Adam, has made us all different by purposeful design that mankind in all of their diversity might with common heart seek Him (Acts 17:24-28)! Our diversity of gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, language, body size, abilities etc. is all to the glory of God in this present age and to be celebrated.9 This, the aspiring strong man and great woman of God in the image of Christ do! For we all in Christ have been brought together in our diversity as sons by God through Christ, the blood He shed to save us on Calvary's cross and the new birth by the Holy Spirit. In Him, men are God's household and forever family held together in divine love (Galatians 3:26-29; Ephesians 2:11-22, 3:14-21)!
This is biblical Christianity that will only continue to seem as high idealism and deluded wishful thinking to professed Christians in divided churches until authentic repentance and revival sweeps through. In repentance, professed Christian white men must cease assuming they are superior to their brothers of color; that every way they see things or idea they propose is right because of their self-appointed standing as superior. They must also give up the notion that men of color should despise themselves and embrace every white value to gain acceptance. Truly, all are to be like Christ and obey His command to love each other as He has loved us (1 John 3:10-24, 4:20-5:3).
Professed Christian black and other men of color in repentance must let go of legitimate anger not just for past, but God knows about the ongoing racial injustices we suffer among many of our white, ostensibly Christian brothers. Bitter victimization is appealing, but is not God's way of love that forgives rather than keeps records of wrongs suffered (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Also, stop looking for sinful men to fully vindicate your suffering. As aspiring strong men of God in the image of Christ we are waiting for divine vindication that will occur when Christ soon returns--unless you scoff at His coming (2 Thessalonians 1:3-12; 1 Peter 2:19-23; 2 Peter 3:1-9)?10 The risen, living Christ continues His cry among American churches, "Who is on the Lord's side?"

4 Much of Western Christianity (my fellow black Americans well represented) continues to want to idolatrously recast God away from His eternal holiness, righteousness,
justice and enduring commands for this mortal age with ear scratching preaching (2 Timothy 4:1-4) and emotion charged, supposedly loving, female led so-called wor-
ship in sin. The worshipper may have “enjoyed” what was taking place, but the issue is did God? The God of the Bible’s ancient rebuke stands as declared by the pro-
phet Amos in the Scripture listed to which this footnote refers. He does not accept nor is He pleased with worship no matter how sincere or emotional that is mixed with
sin! Truly, before Amos, the prophet Samuel proclaimed, “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…” and the Lord Jesus: “If you love Me, keep my commandments,”
(1 Samuel 15:22-23; John 14:15, NKJV). Read the three-part series of posts beginning January 4, 2015, Worshipping God Without God, under the category, Call To

In light of what the Lord led me to write in the two-part post, Flavorless Salt Is Worthless, under the category, Call To Repent beginning August 2, 2020, He has given me a word of exhortation and encouragement for all of us that will be His faithful during these times of spiritual confusion, apostasy and His judgment. We or our faithful spiritual descendants that endure until the Lord comes as promised are not the first to have to live through such days waiting on Him to bring about deliverance and reversal. God’s faithful are a who’s who on His roll call of faith in the Bible that surround us as “so great a cloud of witnesses” headed up by our Lord Jesus Himself (Hebrews 11:4-12:2, NKJV)!
Among God’s faithful listed by the writer of Hebrews and inspirational to me personally serving by appointment of the Lord, are the Old Testament prophets in whose office of responsibility I also serve according to Ezekiel 33:1-9 during this New Testament era (Ephesians 4:11-16). One of the major Old Testament prophets was Isaiah who was called and used mightily by God to speak, write and act out His Word amidst the divided house of Israel, though, his messages were primarily to the two southern tribes and kingdom of Judah (Isaiah 6). Over 2,700 years later, those messages for the people and personalities of his times are saturated with prophetic import that reaches us today.
Up through the eighth chapter of his book, Isaiah foretells the judgment of God upon Judah for sin and imminent invasion of the northern kingdom’s ten tribes by the dominant power of the day, Assyria, for the wickedness of spiritual confusion and apostasy fed by idolatry. In that eighth chapter too, he is instructed by God about how he and all the other faithful to Him were to handle themselves during the times of spiritual confusion and apostasy that continued and while His judgment was taking place. For the faithful are not so by title or conferral of men, but as the very real description of their lives, words and deeds lined up with the character of God and His Word (Deuteronomy 7:9-11)!1
Like Isaiah and the faithful of his day, God first instructs us to “not walk in the way of this people;” the disobedient and unfaithful that in their spiritual blindness get caught up in the confusion of speculative conspiracy theories about the times. This is evidence that people have spun conspiracy theories from ancient times! The only difference today is the technology leap that has allowed the innumerable and rapid proliferation of these conspiracy theories and opinions. God also instructs Isaiah and us not to be terrified by or live in dread of the people or the content of their conspiracy theories, but fear the holy God alone and take refuge in Him (Isaiah 8:11-14a, NKJV).
To the unfaithful that choose not to fear God and let Him be their “sanctuary,” He will be “a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense” as in Jesus Christ, His Son, He has been “to both the houses of Israel” in unbelief; “a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem” to this hour! The unfaithful “stumble” (fall away) and become captives to Satan for destruction because of their unbelief fed disobedience to “the Word,” (Isaiah 8:14b-15; 1 Peter 2:6-8, NKJV).2 Seeing the end for the unfaithful, Isaiah exhorts his “disciples” as also God’s to “Bind up the testimony, seal the law among” themselves; “wait on the Lord” in the time of judgment and “hope in Him,” (Isaiah 8:16-17, NKJV).
Isaiah presented himself and his two sons with God given names of prophetic significance that when fulfilled, would be additional affirmation of the right choice the faithful make to trust in God and His Word (Isaiah 8:18). We have the joy of that additional affirmation of God’s prophetic Word fulfilled in experiencing the power of the first coming of Christ through the Holy Spirit as testified to by His eyewitness apostles (Acts 2:1-39; Hebrews 2:10-18; 2 Peter 1:16-21; 1 John 1:1-4)! So, as Isaiah admonishes, we do not consult with psychics or the occult; nor do we trust in “lying wonders” Satan will soon be allowed to perform or blindly stay tethered to local churches under judgment where false teaching is going forth (Isaiah 8:19; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Revelation 18:1-8, NKJV).3
Indeed, many of the elder faithful in this generation rightly understand their faithfulness has been displayed in part by their attendance, participation in and financial support of a local church. However, as God has had me warning many years, not only can a local church become corrupt, but He shuts them down in judgment as thousands per year have been before His Coronavirus judgment.4 Now, in His Coronavirus judgment where most churches have been temporarily closed by government safety decree, we are to clearly understand it is not attendance and participation at buildings God values above all, but obedience!5 Therefore, if a local church is not being obedient to God’s Word, the faithful are to leave after lovingly attempting to urge repentance if possible.
For the faithful in all epochs the rallying cry is “to the Word of God” as it is written--undiluted, uncorrupted and uncompromised (Isaiah 8:20)! Even knowing there were some minor human copyist errors in the Old Testament scrolls He read and quoted from that adversaries love to point up, the Lord Jesus staked His life and teaching ministry on the Word of God (Matthew 4:1-11, 5:17-48; Luke 4:16-21); His apostles, its perpetual trustworthiness and value to believers (2 Timothy 3:13-17). In a time of spiritual darkness, confusion, apostasy and God’s judgment (Isaiah 8:21-22), the faithful look to, trust in and stand on the Word of God to endure to the end He has prepared; for we have seen and know the “great light” that has dawned and is soon to overspread the earth (Isaiah 9:1-7, NKJV).

5 This being true as the whole Bible teaches, a number of pastors are bringing shame on Christ and the faith by insisting on holding gatherings at their buildings in dis-
obedience to the government. This is not about Constitutional rights and government intrusion into religion, but righteous submission and obedience to a secular
government’s best effort to fulfill its divine mandate to protect its citizens from harm. And professed Christians that ostensibly answer to the God that brought the pes-
tilence are being disobedient claiming a right to worship? If we really want to worship God that bad, have we forgotten the individual Christian in any circumstance
always can since our bodies are His temples (John 2:19-21; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 6:19-20)? Also, God is not doing a new thing in our not being able to assemble at
buildings. He has reminded us of the old thing from His Word where the smallest corporate form of the local church is a family in a house with teaching and worship
led by men as His chosen heads if there (Acts 2:44-47; Romans 16:3-5; 1 Timothy 3:1-7). Get the free download, Men Leading Family Worship At Home in the
Strong Man Store for such times as these and till the end. Otherwise, we know what is really behind the pushback by some pastors and churches to the point of
being willing to put people in harm’s way: the loss of income. Rather than disobeying the governing authorities trying to protect people, I exhort all to take their instruc-
tions on public gatherings as from God and His call to repent seriously during His Coronavirus judgment (Isaiah 26:20-21; 1 Peter 2:11-17)!
The demand for slavery reparations resurfaced with a vengeance this past Juneteenth as yet again members of the black community led by well spoken award winning author and journalist, Ta-Nehisi Coates, attempted to make the case for them during a United States Congressional House Subcommittee hearing. Equally well spoken against reparations was young black American, Coleman Hughes, a college student and columnist with an online magazine who among other reasons objected to reparations being given on the grounds that the person receiving them is instantly made a victim.1
While I appreciate the “why” of Coates’ argument for reparations, Hughes’ victimization concern against them strikes close to the heart of my objection rooted in a biblical worldview and expressed in this edited 2003 Commentary. Let me be very clear: to oppose reparations for slavery is not in any way to indicate that in any cases of economic exploitation of or land theft from black Americans afterwards there should not be a swift and just remedy. However, as I have written in other posts2 and now again in this Commentary, slavery was of God and to demand reparations of anyone from it is to demand them from Him (Lamentations 3:27-28)!
Are we really that far gone from a proper fear of the Lord? Consequently, any reparation recipients as victims have their reward from men now, but eternally miss out on God’s as blasphemers (Jeremiah 17:9-10; Matthew 7:21-23, 16:24-27; Romans 1:18-2:11; Hebrews 10:26-31)!

There are a growing number of African Americans across the nation calling for the American government and corporations to pay reparations to blacks for the experience of slavery. The word reparation is defined as “An act or the process of repairing or making amends” according to Webster’s Dictionary. It also is “Something done or paid as amends; compensation.” Interestingly, Webster’s defines reparations as “Compensation required from a defeated nation for damage inflicted during a war.”
As I understand the rationale behind the demand for reparations, blacks are owed compensation from the government and selected corporations because they benefited from the free labor of our slave forefathers. The compensation would be calculated based on the wages slaves would have earned in one scheme I recall hearing about. Whatever the scheme, the aspiring strong man of God in the image of Jesus Christ knows demanding reparations for the black experience of slavery in America is a wicked and sinful affront to the God of our salvation.3 Indeed, for it was He who allowed our enslavement and also set us free!
When are we going to stop acting out of this satanically inspired attitude of victimization over our experience in America? This attitude is exactly where the demand for reparations comes from. However, according to the Judge of all creation, neither our ancestors nor we now are innocent victims in His sight! He says, “‘There is none righteous, no, not one.’” And again, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:10, 23, NKJV). Therefore, where is the innocence of any human being, tribe, race or nation on the planet?
We who love to so eloquently explain the equality of the races; in our present cry for reparations are we saying that we are more worthy than all other people in the history of the world because our experience was so unjust and undeserved in our eyes? History reveals many other peoples have suffered the humiliation of slavery. No doubt all would have loved to receive reparations for their bitter service. However, most were grateful just to have their freedom when it came. What makes us, the sons of Cush, so special then? In the sight of God, nothing!
Truly, He planned our remedial judgment long ago and revealed it through the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 18). As it was in ancient times, so it is today; we are a people of great pride or is it not pride to demand reparations from the Most High God, the One ultimately responsible for our enslavement (Psalm 107:10-12; Lamentations 3:37-39)? Besides punishing the many wicked deeds of our ancestors, the Lord sought through slavery (and continues seeking in our trials) to humble our great pride as Isaiah’s prophecy shows. It also powerfully pictures that the Lord’s mercy in our sufferings will accomplish His primary end: the salvation of willing souls!
The present cry for reparations blatantly ignores the fact that the Lord impressed on this nation the need to help our slave forefathers set free amidst the Civil War. During the period immediately after the war called Reconstruction, educational institutions (of which many of our historically black universities such as Howard in Washington D.C.) were founded, money and assistance given to help the newly freed slaves begin their ascent to citizenship.4
Did everyone get 40 acres and a mule as promised? No. Were there setbacks due to racism and the violent intimidation of whites? Yes. But while we suffered these things and the grand insult of Jim Crow segregation, did not our people, a little here and a little there, by and by begin to prosper as the Lord in His infinite mercy and grace gave us favor? Yes! And at the turn of the 20th century we were doing so well as we moved from the agricultural South to the industrial North, we started to turn away from the heartfelt faith in the Lord many of our Christian slave forefathers had; rejecting their “Pie in the sky.”
Jeremiah the prophet spells out in clear terms the curse of desolation that follows the man (or people) who trusts in flesh and departs from the Lord; the blessing and enduring prosperity of the man (or people) who trust in Him (Jeremiah 17:5-8)! In light of the many and continuing problems of our community, we don’t need reparations or much more help than we already have. We need to turn back to the Lord in complete repentance which includes forsaking the remake of biblical Christianity into “our own” religion by so many churches!5
The Lord says, ‘“Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins shall die,’” (Ezekiel 18:4, NKJV). Therefore, unless the guilty repent, they shall all die (Luke 13:1-9). We who are enduring the current judgment of God upon our people in rebellion and apostasy through faith in Christ, should consider ourselves blessed to have our lives just as Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian in his day (Jeremiah 39:15-18). Let’s not join in the prideful insult to His mercy by demanding reparations from God or anybody else as victims for what was of His permitted will. Instead, let the faithful--every aspiring strong man and great woman of God in the image of Christ be victors over the world through faith in Him to the glory of God (1 John 5:4-5)!

4 While the poor in the community still need help from everybody to “rise,” what is needed most of all from the descendants of our former masters that are guilty is the re-
moving of all of the artificially imposed barriers and obstacles of racism as I wrote in the February 19, 2017 post, Who Is Weeping For My People, under the category,
The Cause.
5 Read the two-part post beginning February 8, 2015, Strong Through God, Not Religion, under the category, Black History.
This post was originally made as an illustrative application of a two-part 2012 blog entitled, “The Faith That Saves” under the category, The Faith.1 The faith of my Christian slave forefathers that came forth out and in spite of the mesh of oppressive confusion bound up in Christianity the religion of men practiced American style,2 is a last days marvel of immense proportions. Clearly, the deliberate providence of God was at work to draw them to Himself (John 6:44-45; 12:32), but also in His foreknowledge, the fertile heart ground for the seed of His Word to bear fruit unto faith when preached in truth was in them (Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23; Romans 10:6-17).
My West African forefathers as with all other Gentiles were not punished for having no faith at all, but faith that was misplaced for example, in ancestor worship, idols and other false deities (Acts 17:16-23; 1 Corinthians 12:2; Galatians 4:8). Having been failed by those departed or not gods that could not help and with no hope from any other source, slaves that did, responded to the Gospel and the true God with the same and even greater devotion of faith than they had previously accorded what was false in their native land (Acts 17:24-34). Truly, only God could have orchestrated this marvel since as I have written, the oppressed received the means of freedom from their oppressors!3
Now, in God’s equality, it is time for the Christian descendants of America’s slaves to return the spiritual favor (Matthew 5:43-48; Romans 12:17-21). For we will need to look to and draw encouragement from the legacy of faith our Christian slave forefathers that endured one of the most brutal forms of slavery in history left us, while also urging all other professed American Christians facing a hostile and soon to be oppressively violent nation in rebellion against God to do the same (Hebrews 10:36-39; 1 John 5:4-5).4 Reflectively reading this edited 2012 repost is a good place to get started if you have not already.

I invite readers who have not obtained a copy to do so for yourself or one of the males in your life that is or will soon be a father.5
On this Father’s Day--as I have done previously through other forums, I write briefly on the celebration of Juneteenth which falls on June 19th each year. Juneteenth is a black American commemoration of the end of slavery by way of celebrating the June 19th anniversary date in 1865 when Texas slaves learned a full two years after that President Lincoln had signed the Emancipation Proclamation setting them free.6 Typical of most American summer holidays there are parades, speeches, concerts, picnics and very importantly in this post-Christian era, worship services. It is here that I briefly join in the celebration and honor the faith of my Christian slave forefathers.
Presented Christianity by colonial whites mostly as a religious means of calming and controlling hearts that were not comfortable with the idea of perpetual servitude, the rigid, high-brow form of religion was not embraced in large numbers by African slaves. However, with the coming of the Holy Spirit fired preaching and worship fervor in the Great Awakenings and Camp Meeting Revivals of the South, conversions by slaves to the Christian faith exploded as the new American nation moved toward Civil War over the trafficking in human souls.
The mostly Western uneducated slave believers in Jesus Christ left their descendants and the world a legacy of persevering faith displayed in songs of hope called “Spirituals.” Embodied in their “Spirituals” was hope in the promise of physical deliverance found in the Bible proclaimed clandestinely by slave and some sympathetic white preachers. Many died waiting for the promise of God in His Word as have many of the saints from ancient times (Hebrews 11:8-16). They waited for physical freedom through faith in the God who did the same for Israel when He brought them out of Egyptian bondage by Moses (Hebrews 11:23-35a).
In the process, my Christian slave forefathers endured being spoon fed a corrupt form of Christianity that attempted to justify the evil brand of bondage they experienced including the demoralization of their souls, brutal whippings, the tearing apart of their families, rape of their daughters and sharing of their wives with slave owners and other white men bent on oppressing them in perpetuity (Hebrews 11:35b-40). Such was their simple, child-like, persevering faith in the God who remembers the oppressed according to His Word (Psalm 103:6; Luke 4:16-19). This faith is also resident in the heart of every aspiring strong man of God in the image of Christ!7
And so, God did in His mercy remember my Christian slave forefathers who had been faithful in their long wait on Him for physical freedom.8 While there would be bitter opposition and battles to secure the reluctant sharing of the rights of citizenship still to come, the day the slaves heard they were free was a day of great celebration; for those who had specifically waited on the Lord--breathless joy! Therefore, it is fitting that black Americans and all the inhabitants of the earth commemorate the day our people were set free lest we ever forget. Moreover, may we always include in our celebration, worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who perpetually honors simple, child-like, persevering faith placed in Him.
